When the original CD of New Jack Philly released in 2009, it was a milestone for me to create a project that was a consistent theme (and ideology), that was all of my own productions and remixes. Having a physical copy of a release like that stands alone in times where everything is being streamed. With ads, data being sold, tracking of behavior and decisions in what you listen to, this is an important time to understand that whatever it is you enjoy, there's a company being sold that data. You shouldn't need an ad before or after your favorite song. There shouldn't be data for something you enjoy; which you likely won't know about before a company makes money from it. People are beginning to realize why I've never condoned putting my library on platforms such as Spotify. I've always been a direct to consumer type of person. From my early days selling my mixtapes at Jamz Entertainment Center, to selling my music on platforms such as Bandcamp. 

On the 11th anniversary of New Jack Philly's CD release, I released it's sequel; a double album release called, “New Jack Philly 2: Club Is Still A Drug” on Bandcamp. Back in 2020, I wanted to give the people who were fans specifically of New Jack Philly, something to behold as a continuation of what they already loved and were familiar with. This is why it picks up exactly where it's previous installation left off.

However, this was never released in CD form, but it will be!

Coming VERY SOON, is the CD version of New Jack Philly 2! This limited edition, physical copy of the double album will be 2 CDs and will have almost 3 hours of material. Of course, this is not a simple re-released of the sequel, this is an extended and updated version! The original digital version of the double album has 34 songs. This new CD ONLY version has 44 tracks on it. With relevent tracks that were made in the past 5 years since it's initial release, this is jam packed full of not just some new additions, but with never before heard tracks made SPECIFICALLY for this CD version! Meaning, those songs will only exist on the CD; some songs will NEVER be released elsewhere! 

Find your old CD player or buy a new updated version with bluetooth connection! Play it in your non-digital only Playstations or Xboxs.
